Dr. Jenna Bruchauser Sarna received her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her Doctoral Internship through the Illinois Psychological Association Pre-Doctoral Internship Consortium (IPAPIC) focusing on Neuropsychology, Health Psychology, Rehab Psychology, and Psychological Therapies, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. After graduating, Dr. Bruchauser Sarna completed her Post-Doctoral Residency at Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Bruchauser Sarna’s areas of interest include an array of neurological disorders comprised of ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Electrophysiological Disorders. She also holds interest in pain management, Spinal Cord Injury, anxiety and mood disorders, and medical ailments such as cancer, diabetes, and weight management. Dr. Bruchauser Sarna is skilled in neuropsychological and psychological assessment, in addition to individual and group therapy.
Dr. Bruchauser Sarna has conducted research in several areas of both Neuro and Health Psychology, including Diagnostic Group Disparities in Interdisciplinary Pain Treatment, Problem Solving Therapy for the Remediation of Executive Function Deficits, and the Impact of the Biopsychosocial Model and Mind-Body Theory on Patients with Fibromyalgia. She has presented at conferences in Honolulu, Istanbul-Turkey, and Chicago.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Illinois Psychological Association, Hawaii Psychology Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the International Neuropsychology Association.
